as wella big part of our lifehas been pushed to the digital spaceparents who couldn't go to work theyhave to work from homechildren took part in digital educationand these twohave created a vulnerableand unexperienced group of users ofdigital space and this kind of group isa perfect targeta perfect target for cyber crimethat's why we urgeto put together a strict internationalregulationwhich can protect our children and ourfamiliesfrom spreading extremist ideologieson theinternet of sexual propaganda and ofcyber bullying

here can be no blank checks for the Taliban! Fundamental rights and freedoms, in particular for women and girls, are simply non-negotiable! We have to do everything to prevent Afghanistan from turning into a black hole with the capacity to destabilise the whole region. And we have to drive home the message to the Taliban that the world’s eyes are on them. We don’t want Afghanistan to turn into an incubator or a safe haven for international terrorism and extremism.

Thethreat of international terrorismhas unfortunately not diminished. Terrorist and violent extremist groups have demonstrated their ability to adjust to the new circumstances, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.

in spite of this progress our sub-region in africa are confronted with peace deficit arising from violent extremism piracy and other forces of instability the continental african union and sub-regional ecowas are fully engaged we urge greater collaboration and closer partnerships by the united nations with these bodies and governments to usher in a more success a peaceful sub-region

thedeadly pandemic, climate change, violent conflicts exploited by global extremists, destabilising economic fault-lines, acontinuing, global refugee crisis.

We cannot be complacent to the growing threat posed by extremist interpretations of religious texts.
